São mostradas várias situações em que os gatos são alimentados e capturados; um dos garotos pega um gato angorá de uma madame; brinca e divide a sua comida com ele. Ele hesita em vende-lo para o fabricante de tamborins, mas a fome se torna maior que o amor. Vende o gato e desce para a cidade com sua caixa de engraxate.
