Woodstock ou Festival de Woodstock foi um festival de música realizado entre os dias 15 e 18 de agosto de 1969 na fazenda de gado leiteiro de 600 acres de Max Yasgur, 70 quilômetros a sudoeste da cidade de Woodstock. O Ébrio
Gilberto Silva (Celestino) é um jovem rico do interior cujo pai perde a fazenda e o deixa na miséria. Sem apoio de ninguém, Gilberto vai para a cidade grande, onde começa perambular até conhecer um padre que abre suas portas e o ajuda a procurar emprego e a aplicar seu talento musical — e Gilberto se inscreve num programa de calouros onde começa a ganhar notoriedade e algum dinheiro para terminar seu curso de medicina. Conhece sua futura esposa Marieta no hospital. Depois de alguns acontecimentos envolvendo familiares e a perda da esposa, ele decide viver como um fantasma, começando a se afogar na bebida e vagabundagem. O famoso clipe de "o Ébrio" é cantado num bar nas cenas finais do filme.
