Antes de se iniciar a 4° Guerra Mundial Ninja, um Exame Chūnin acontece no País do Vento. Naruto e o Ebisu Team (formado por Konohamaru, Moegi e Udon) participam e, logo na primeira luta, o destino coloca dois rivais ao título de Hokage frente a frente. Quem sairá vencedor?
Naruto Uzumaki, Sakura Haruno, Rock Lee e Kakashi Hatake foram enviados para proteger um príncipe durante sua viagem ao redor do mundo e garantir que ele volte com segurança para sua casa no País da Lua. O País da Lua por ser muito rico possibilita que o Príncipe compre tudo que deseja. Durante sua viagem, o Príncipe encontra um grupo circense que possui um raro tigre dente-de-sabre que ele deseja ter, então ele compra o grupo todo. De repente a missão de proteger o príncipe que difícilmente escuta o que lhe é dito, se torna em uma missão para proteger não só ele, mas também outros animais, e tentar levá-los de alguma forma salvos para suas casas. O problema surge quando três ninjas que manipulam jutsus amedrontadores estão a espera deles.

Naruto x UT is the eighth Naruto OVA. Approximately 200,000 copies of this OVA were distributed by Uniqlo to promote a line of Naruto-themed shirts designed by Masashi Kishimoto in conjunction with Studio Pierrot. It shows the aftermath between a fight between Naruto and Sasuke and shows clips of their times together and the story so far.
After parting with Sasuke at the Final Valley, Uzumaki Naruto has been away from the village of Konohagakure to further his training. Two and a half years later, he finally returns to the village and takes his mission in Team Kakashi, then he finds the clue on Orochimaru. Naruto leads the team and heads to the place where Orochimaru is in order to save his friend Sasuke. However, little does he know that "Akatsuki" is seeking after his life to acquire the Nine-Tailed sealed in his body.
Although Chicken does not make an appearance, Chan Ho Nam finds a new love interest in the form of Mei Ling. Meanwhile, Tung Sing returns to cause trouble again for Hung Hing, in the form of new leader Szeto Ho Nam.
