It’s time to toss out the rulebook as WWE presents Extreme Rules! Extreme Rules (2012) took place on April 29, 2012 at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois. It was the fourth event under the Extreme Rules chronology.
WWE Hell in a Cell 2011
The record breaking 10-time WWE Champion John Cena must defend the coveted title against not just 1, but 2 former Champions, Alberto Del Rio and CM Punk. All 3 men battle in the career threatening, history making, first ever Triple Threat Hell in a Cell match. Also, Vickie Guerrero’s clients Dolph Ziggler and Jack Swagger look to set aside their differences and take the WWE Tag Team Championship from Air Boom (Kofi Kingston & Evan Bourne). Plus, Cody Rhodes’ desire to bring class and tradition to the WWE Intercontinental Championship may be short-lived as he must face John Morrison in a title match. Nas praias da Malásia durante o verão, três americanos - Lewis (Joaquin Phoenix), Xerife (Vince Vaughn) e Tony (David Conrad) - desfrutam prazeres com mulheres, rum e maconha barata. Como o fim do verão, Tony e Xerife voltam para Nova York, mas Lewis decide ir para Bornéu para ajudar a salvar os orangotangos da extinção. Entretanto no mesmo dia Lewis é preso, pois Tony e Xerife deixaram com ele 140 gramas de haxixe e, segundo as leis locais, a partir de 100 gramas o portador é considerado traficante e a pena é a morte por enforcamento. Isso detona uma série de represálias contra Buford que agora tem que lutar pela vida de seus familiares. Usando apenas um bastão de madeira como arma, Buford declara guerra contra os criminosos e luta para fazer a lei e a ordem retornarem a cidade, ou vai morrer tentando.
