Chandu on the Magic Island

On the mystic island of Lemuria, the cult of Ubasti seek the Egyptian Princess Nadji to sacrifice so that their goddess Ossana, whose soul resides in Nadji's body, may be resurrected by Black Magic. Nadji is located in the Far East port of Suva, but shielded by the White Magical powers of Frank Chandler, an American raised by Eastern mystics who is also known as Chandu. When Chandu takes a voyage alone, however, the evil Voice of Ubasti is able to magically spirit her to Lemuria, where Black Magic reigns supreme. Chandu sets out in pursuit with his sister Dorothy, niece Betty and nephew Bob; but, shipwrecked on the magic island, Chandu finds his family also held prisoner for sacrifice while he is plunged into an endless maze of caverns beneath the evil temple, where both his mortal and magical strength seem rendered useless.

Life's Just Great

Two impressionable teenage girls fall in with a beatnik crowd that is content to avoid work and have fun. The group lives for today while committing petty crimes and revels in being outside social convention until their adventures take a murderous turn. A young divorcee with a baby feels that life has passed her by as her friends enjoy a carefree time. Another couple with a young child is headed for divorce when their idyllic bubble is burst and they are overwhelmed by reality.

We the People

Alan and his pregnant wife, Amy, plan to spend a quiet weekend at their isolated vacation home in the woods. They are joined by two other couples, Bill and Sheri and then Charles and Liz. Suddenly they're confronted by two gun-toting killers, Bobby and Red. The three couples try to accomodate the killers' demands but tensions climb and violence erupts.

Miners Shot Down

In August 2012, mineworkers in one of South Africa’s biggest platinum mines began a wildcat strike for better wages. Six days later the police used live ammunition to brutally suppress the strike, killing 34 and injuring many more. Using the point of view of the Marikana miners, Miners Shot Down follows the strike from day one, showing the courageous but isolated fight waged by a group of low-paid workers against the combined forces of the mining company Lonmin, the ANC government and their allies in the National Union of Mineworkers.

No Man's Zone

On March 11, 2011, a tsunami struck the coast of Fukushima causing the meltdown of a nearby power plant. Within 24 hours the population within a 20-km radius was ordered to evacuate. Shortly thereafter Toshi Fujiwara entered the so-called "No Man's Zone," interviewing those who either could not or did not want to leave. Haunted by imperceptible traces of radiation, Fukushima has been transformed into an atmosphere of silence and disintegration, a land of cherry blossoms and ghosts in white protective clothing.

Al (Freddie Prinze Jr.) e Imogen (Julia Stiles) são estudantes da Universidade de Nova York e se conhecem num bar, onde se apaixonam perdidamente. Al é um aspirante a chefe de cozinha que tem como pai um astro da televisão. Já Imogen é uma aspirante a artista gráfica. O relacionamento entre eles se desenvolve ao longo de três meses, quando decidem levar o namoro a outro nível de comprometimento um com o outro.
