Peso Morto

Moltès (Gérard Lanvin) é um criminoso que foi condenado a sete anos de prisão. Atrás das grandes, ele faz amizade com Reggio (Benoît Poelvoorde), um carcereiro que joga toda a semana na loteria, com a esperança de ser premiado e poder melhorar sua vida miserável. Quando o milagre acontece, os dois amigos quase não conseguem acreditar. Mas as confusões ainda estão para começar: a esposa de Reggio, a enfermeira Pauline (a nariguda Rossy de Palma, de Mulheres à Beira de um Ataque de Nervos), viajou para a Àfrica levando consigo o bilhete premiado. Sem pestanejar, Moltès consegue escapar da prisão e obriga o amigo a seguir viagem com ele para Mali. O objetivo, claro, é encontrar a mulher de Reggio e recuperar o bilhete premiado. Entretanto, não contavam com a presença de um assassino turco (José Garcia) para complicar as coisas.
