Sinopse: Por que se preocupar em arrastar a própria sombra? Um homem faz um pacto com um mágico e troca sua sombra por riquezas. Ele logo descobre que a ausência de sombra pode ser uma desvantagem humilhante. Depois de fugir para os confins da terra, acaba em Bali, num teatro de marionetas de sombras, onde descobre o verdadeiro valor das sombras. Filme de animação realizado em 2004 pelo diretor suíço Georges Schwizgebel. É uma adaptação de O Curioso Caso de Peter Shlemihl, escrito pelo escritor alemão Adelbert von Chamisso, romance de 1813, um conto fantástico inspirado no Fausto de Goethe.
