Sinopse: Em 1974, o diretor chileno-francês Alejandro Jodorowsky embarcou no projeto quixotesco de adaptar o influente romance “Duna” (1969), de Frank Herbert, para o cinema. Após investir dois anos e milhões de dólares, o gigantesco projeto terminou em fracasso; mas os artistas que Jodorowsky reuniu para realizá-lo continuaram a trabalhar juntos e acabaram lançando as bases para o cinema de ficção científica moderno.
