Sinopse: Durante a dinastia Song, depois que o justo prefeito Bao Zheng executou Pang Yu por peculato, o grande tutor Pang Ji enviou assassinos para vingar a morte de seu filho. Um homem cavalheiresco, Zhan Zhao, o "Herói do Sul", salvou Bao e recebeu o título de "Rei Gato" do imperador.
