Sinopse: Miguel Metralha (um invejável Stênio Garcia) não é como um gangster norte-americano, mas é nele que se espelha, ao menos na sua postura de macho inabalável. E não é o gangster de fato, mas sim a imagem que os filmes passam deles – é o que Callegaro nos propõe imageticamente. Mas, Metralha, não passa de um jornalista fadado a uma vida de pobreza, mesmo que conserve a máscara de malandro: comedor, entendido de sexo e de mulheres, acima de todos, pronto para passar por cima de qualquer um e apenas curtir a vida.
