Sinopse: Uma garota atormentada e assustada escapa de ser atropelada à noite em uma estrada pequena. O motorista a resgata e a abriga numa mansão pertencente à sua amante. Descobre que ela está fugindo de um marido psicótico, e devido à ajuda graciosa, se apaixona loucamente por ela. Quando o zelador da mansão descobre que um resgate é oferecido para quem encontrar a jovem, ele conta o paradeiro ao marido psicótico, que persegue implacavelmente a sua vítima.
