Capturing Avatar

Capturing Avatar is a feature length behind-the-scenes documentary about the making of Avatar. It uses footage from the film's development, as well as stock footage from as far back as the production of Titanic in 1995. Also included are numerous interviews with cast, artists, and other crew members. The documentary was released as a bonus feature on the extended collector's edition of Avatar.

The love of women who have been separated because of man, and the two men's friendship is comically drawn.

Sem contar os anos em que James Cameron passou em seu próprio estúdio desenvolvendo a técnica 3D de filmagem que utilizaria em “Avatar”, o mini-doc começa mostrando o primeiro dia de produção de fato, em 2007, passando pela fase de captura de movimentos até a composição da trilha sonora. Um trabalho realmente épico, que merece reconhecimento e milhares de prêmios técnicos, até para seu diretor, mas nunca de “melhor filme”.
