Sinopse: Em março de 2003 cinco alpinistas montaram um acampamento no extremo sul da Terra do Fogo, um dos locais mais inóspitos do planeta. Enfrentando o frio, a chuva constantes, a neve e os ventos fortes, é realizada uma expedição para escalar o Monte Sarmiento, uma montanha pouco explorada mas bastante conhecida pela sua beleza, isolamento e perigo.
