Sinopse: A história gira em torno de um homossexual autodenominado Diaba (Milton Gonçalves), que controla uma rede de narcotráfico na região a partir de um quarto, nos fundos de um prostíbulo. Ao saber que um de seus homens está prestes a ser preso pela polícia, decide usar um bode expiatório, Bereco, um jovem cheio de si (Stepan Nercessian), a fim de envolve-lo numa série de crimes e entrega-lo como se fosse o verdadeiro procurado. A partir daí, a trama toma outros rumos. Os comandados de Diaba, revoltados com o autoritarismo do chefe, se rebelam por meio de Catitu (Nelson Xavier). Bereco, por sua vez, se fortalece e tenta entrar para o tráfico por conta própria, o que deflagra uma guerra no submundo do Rio de Janeiro.

A bookshop renowned for its rare works is mysteriously and filled with copies of a book entitled 1, which doesn't appear to have a publisher or author.
