The defeated remnants of vile Ukrainian nationalists, headed by the leader of the Ukrainian liberation movement, Symon Petliura, cannot accept their historical fate and are plotting an insurrection against the Soviet regime in Ukraine. There is nothing Petliura and his cohorts would not do to win back control over Ukraine, including selling it to the highest bidder, in this case, the Polish dictator Jozef Pilsudski. A group of plotters are coordinating an insurrection in Kyiv with an attack from Poland headed by Petliura’s general Yurko Tiutiunnyk. Predictably, the invincible Red Army defeats the nationalist plotters and proves that the Soviet borders are impregnable.

Return to Rajapur

A doomed love affair blooms against the beautiful and exotic backdrop of the deserts of India in this romantic drama. Samantha Hartley (Kelli Garner) is a woman in her early twenties who travels to Rajapur in India to visit a resort where her mother stayed years ago. While tracing the steps of her mother, Sara (Lynn Collins), Samantha learns the true story about her mother's stormy marriage to Jeremy (Justin Theroux), a charming but moody alcoholic. Only a few days after their wedding, Sara began to wonder if marrying Jeremy was a mistake, and while visiting India on their honeymoon, Sara met Jai Singh (Manoj Bajpai), a handsome and sensitive widower living in Rajapur. Jai Singh, who speaks fluent English, soon strikes up a friendship with Sara that quickly grows into a romance, but both are aware of the transgressive nature of their love, and their affair takes a tragic turn, leaving its scars on all parties involved.

The film does the journey of these two opposite personalities and how, after the initial phase of rejection, they find each others place in their respective lives.

O ritmo da música de Wurman é um achado a mais, atenta ao humor e à gravidade do tradicional ritual de acasalamento dos pinguins.a

A Bússola de Ouro

Lyra Belacqua (Dakota Blue Richards) é uma órfã que foi criada na Universidade Oxford. No mundo em que vive todas as pessoas têm um "daemon", ou seja, uma manifestação de sua própria alma em forma animal. Lyra leva uma vida tranqüila até ela e seu daemon, Pantalaimon, descobrirem a existência de uma substância misteriosa chamada "pó". Isto provoca um estranho efeito nas crianças, o que faz com que as autoridades religiosas se convençam de que representa o mal. Seguindo o misterioso Lorde Asriel (Daniel Craig), seu protetor, Lyra parte em busca de uma resposta.
