O pai de Hórus, no leito de morte, revela que a família veio de uma aldeia costeira do norte, que foi devastada pelo perverso bruxo Grunwald, deixando-os como únicos sobreviventes. Antes de morrer, o pai de Hórus incumbe o filho a regressar à sua terra natal e vingar-se da vila.
