A short comedy spoof about Universal Monsters and their everyday unconventional work done at their very own talent agency for their movies.
In the middle of a broadcast about Typhoon Yolanda's initial impact, reporter Jiggy Manicad was faced with the reality that he no longer had communication with his station. They were, for all intents and purposes, stranded in Tacloban. With little option, and his crew started the six hour walk to Alto, where the closest broadcast antenna was to be found. Letting the world know what was happening to was a priority, but they were driven by the need to let their families and friends know they were all still alive. Along the way, they encountered residents and victims of the massive typhoon, and with each step it became increasingly clear just how devastating this storm was. This was a storm that was going to change lives.
Em uma noite de comédia de arrasar, Bill Burr apresenta seus amigos humoristas que fazem piada com absolutamente tudo, de Michael Jackson à pandemia.
Set in the 1970s and '80s, a man of many talents and an aspiring filmmaker come together in their shared ambition of making it big in the magical world of cinema. As they struggle with a burning desire to prove themselves, can their friendship survive the test of time?
This movie is about life of ordinary people who simply love, walk, talk, play...
Five friends receive invitations to an underground sex party. However, to qualify for attendance each invitee must submit revealing photos as a "screening" process." As the party draws near, issues of monogamy, weight & appearance, discrimination, drug use, and promiscuity arise. Friendships are tested and pushed to their boundaries, personalities collide, sexual histories are revealed, and relationship survival is in question.
Commencing well-respected Nippon director Kazuo Kuroki's sixth decade behind the camera, "A Boy's Summer in 1945" (literally "A Beautiful Summer in Kirishima") is a lyric, novelistic drama set in the countryside in the last days before Japan's surrender ending WWII. Striking a welcome retro note in its languid pacing and delicate handling of seriocomic ensemble threads, handsome production is a natural for fests. It might also prove a cornerstone for retrospectives or ancillary releases of works by a helmer ("Preparation of the Festival," "Ronin-gai") who's long been appreciated at home but has won just limited attention abroad.
Julieta is a young child psychologist hired by millionaire Eugenio Ruvalcaba, to work with his only daughter, Sylvia, who has severe emotional problems, while staying in their isolated island mansion. Once there, she finds out there's much more to Sylvia's imaginary friend than what everybody knows... and the results can be horrifying... Remake of Carlos Enrique Taboada's classic film from 1969.
