A Night on the Water

After graduating from college, Sung-Ha enters a Canadian investment company and develops into a talented businessman. However, after a single mistake, he receives his discharge notice. In desolation, he spends his days drinking and gambling. Then Sung-Ha falls in love with a woman called Phoebe, whom he meets accidentally in the subway station, and who reminds him of his abused mother. Phoebe is a street walker with incurable pains, who was sexually abused by her stepfather. For her, tequila, sex, and drugs are the only means by which to end her pain and support herself. She meets a warm-hearted, ever-loving man who gives her the courage to live on. These are two people trying to ease their pains, a happy couple... However, Phoebe is not free from the memories of her past, and is afraid that her happiness might not last...

Everything Will Be All Right

This charming comedy tracks the lives of several romantic pairs through trials and tribulations. The main focus of the story is a young soldier with a good heart but little ambition and his fiancée, who feels torn when a charming and sophisticated intellectual enters her life and sweeps her off her feet. There are also several side stories, also all dealing with relationships, most significantly the soldier's mother, whose comfortable but unexceptional marriage is threatened when a past love returns to her life.

Two 'friends', Jonas and Mark, who live by cheating and squandering their money in saloons meet a crazy old man who tells them that gold has been discovered in the Rocky Mountains. The whole town moves, with dreams of becoming rich, but they are bitterly disappointed when on their way home they are robbed by Mulieta and his vicious gang of outlaws. Jonathan and Mark are spurred into action and decide to fight Mulieta's gang and retrive their gold.

64: Part 2

1989: 64th and last year of the Showa era. A girl is kidnapped and killed. The unsolved case is called Case 64 ('rokuyon'). 2002: Yoshinobu Mikami, who was the detective in charge of the Case 64, moves as a Public Relations Officer in the Police Affairs Department. His relation with the reporters is conflicted and his own daughter is missing. The statute of limitations for the Case 64 will expire in one year. Then a kidnapping case, similar to the Case 64, takes place. The rift between the criminal investigation department and police administration department deepens. Mikami challenges the case as a public relations secretary.
