Sinopse: Uma mulher do interior considera que foi enganada pelo marido em um 'falso' divórcio combinado pelos dois. Ela, então, decide se mudar para poder se defender em um tribunal superior, saindo de sua pequena cidade rumo à capital Pequim. Os anos passam, e ela continua a processar o Estado por não reconhecer suas demandas. Ela aborda juízes nas ruas, lança-se na frente de seus carros e até mesmo procura cúmplices para ajudá-la a matar todos eles.
