Dan, aged 19, leaves his home after a quarrel with his father. At the side of the country road he meets a traveling theater company who has run out of money. He falls in love with the young actress Pia and together they leave, meeting a string of peculiar characters: a vagabond, a friendly vicar and a cynical adventurer.

Life of a Mutt

Through seven scenes, the film follows the life and destinies of stray dogs from the margins of our society, leading us to reconsider our attitude towards them. Through the seven “wandering” characters that we follow at different ages, from birth to old age, we witness their dignified struggle for survival. At the cemetery, in an abandoned factory, in an asylum, in a landfill, in places full of sorrow, our heroes search for love and togetherness. By combining documentary material, animation and acting interpretation of the thoughts of our heroes, we get to know lives between disappointment and hope, quite similar to ours.

Contratado para levar uma peça britânica para os Estados Unidos, o nervoso diretor Lloyd Fellowed faz de tudo para controlar um grupo de atores excêntricos. Durante os ensaios, tudo parece normal, mas o caos toma conta quando Lloyd e seus atores começam a fazer apresentações antes da estreia na Broadway. Os encontros e desencontros da trupe de teatro indicam que o espetáculo de estreia está destinado ao fracasso.
