No meio de outubro de 1998, Enjou Tomoe é atacado por delinquentes da sua antiga escola e é salvo por Ryougi Shiki. Ele pede a ela para escondê-lo e admite que matou alguém. Vários dias depois após o incidente não houve nenhuma notícia do assassinato como se nada tivesse acontecido.
