Jecão (Mazzaropi) e seu filho Martinho (Paulo Greven) vão a São Paulo receber o dinheiro que ganharam na loteria esportiva e quando regressam à cidadezinha onde moram são festivamente recebidos. A fortuna desperta a cobiça de um fazendeiro da região, Chico Fazenda (Dante Ruy), que com seus capangas assalta Jecão e acaba por matá-lo.
