A group of carefree young people decide to rent a place to have fun. Finding a cheap cottage, they immediately rent it, thinking it's a great opportunity. However, the cottage is not what they imagined. After settling into their rooms, the young people gather together and start chatting. When one of them begins telling scary stories about the house being haunted, a deep silence falls over the group. Everyone is tense, but once they realize that the stories are just jokes, they continue their fun. This time, they decide to take the horror stories up a notch and try to summon spirits. However, things won’t go as smoothly as they had imagined.

Berlin Escape Artists

An ideological and physical barrier fell on 9 November 1989 in Berlin. For 28 years, this 155 km wall divided Germany in two, separating friends and family. The recent discovery of some documents reveals the stories of those who managed to escape to join their loved ones, or simply to regain their freedom. Demonstrating imagination and courage, some dug tunnels to get under the Berlin Wall, others inflated balloons to fly over it, while others disguised themselves with fake uniforms. By combining archives, reconstitution sequences and intrigue scenes, this documentary plunges us into a Berlin that has now disappeared, through the prism of the art of escape under the GDR.

White Wolf

A gray wolf raised on a farm kills the family dog, and to save him from being destroyed, a boy named Lasset makes a trek through the wilderness with the wolf to a wilderness sanctuary 300 miles to the north. The BGM in the film consists entirely of Dvorak's Serenade for Strings, making it perhaps the only anime since Gauche the Cellist to make use of a single piece of classical music as the soundtrack. The plot of the film is simple and the outcome obvious, but the atmosphere of the film is genuine, and it is very moving in parts thanks to Dvorak's music (which is scored entirely for the most emotional of the instrument groups, the strings). This is a straightforward drama about the friendship between a boy and his wolf, and it pushes all the buttons you'd expect, but it's very enjoyable despite all that.

O Corvo

O poderoso feiticeiro Dr. Erasmus Craven (Vincent Price) vive recluso em seu castelo, de luto pela morte de sua esposa Lenore (Hazel Court) há dois anos, para tristeza da filha dele, Estelle (Olive Sturgess). Em uma noite, entra pela janela um corvo que se revela como o feiticeiro Dr. Bedlo (Peter Lorre), transformado na ave após um duelo de magia com o maligno Dr. Scarabus (Boris Karloff). Craven o ajuda a voltar ao normal e Bedlo quer retornar ao castelo de Scarabus para a revanche. Craven vai junto, pois Bedlo lhe contara que vira o fantasma de Lenore no lugar. Acompanha a dupla de feiticeiros Estelle e Rexford (Jack Nicholson), filho de Bedlo. No castelo de Scarabus, ocorre o novo duelo de magia dele com Bedlo e, depois, a luta final com Craven.
