Roupa Nova - Todo Amor do Mundo

Depois de emplacar diversos hits e trilhas que marcaram novelas, como “Anjo”, “Dona” e “Whisky a Go-Go”, o Roupa Nova resolve apresentar a sua própria história. No DVD, a narrativa, que conta o início da carreira do grupo nos anos 1960 através de animações é entremeada por músicas inéditas e regravações, que formam também o repertório do CD. Gravado em 360 graus, o projeto traz 20 canções, incluindo as novas composições “Contato” e “Tempo de Encarar”, além de regravações de canções internacionais em versões inéditas em português. Feitas por grandes nomes da música brasileira, como Moska, Nelson Motta e Milton Guedes, as faixas são composições dos anos 60 e 70. Primeira música de trabalho, a balada “É Tempo de Amar” já foi gravada por Roberto Carlos. Ao repertório do projeto se soma o forte time de participações, contando com grandes nomes dos mais variados gêneros, incluindo Tico Santa cruz, Alexandre Pires, Carol Feghali, Twigg, Angélica e Ed Motta.

Formed in 1967 by Gerardo Masana, during the height of a period of very intense Choral Music activity in Argentina's state universities, Les Luthiers premiered this show on May the 30th, 1985 at the El Círculo Theater in Rosario, Argentina. The 'Mandocleta' instrument was presented for the first time during this show. Recorded live at the Colón Theater in Bogotá, Colombia, on April 12, 1986. Numbers 11 and 12 were recorded earlier at that same theater on November 8, 1981. This is the last recorded appearance by Ernesto Acher with Les Luthiers.

Waiting for the Tenor

The author Thomas meets his childhood friend Hoffman on an autumn night in 1997. They decide to let a dream come true: to make a film of a play by Thomas, Veranda for a Tenor, with Hoffman in the lead role. The story takes us back to the summer of 1961, which changed their lives. The writing of the script awakens memories and forbidden questions are answered. Their friendship is put to the test a final time. Veranda for a tenor is a film about male friendship, but also about love. Their love for the same woman...

Frontier Woman

Tennessee, 1838. Polly Crockett, the daughter of the legendary hero Davy Crockett of Alamo, and makes a living from hunting in the forests. These forests are still inhabited by the Indians. Most of them live in peace but some of them are negatively affected by white traders. One day Polly, who is accompanied by her faithful Indian friend Neshoba, goes to the town to sell her hides. Polly meets Catawampus Jones. Jones and his father fought in the Alamo too. Indians influenced by Prewitt, an employee of a hide company, and Redbud, are killing settlers and burning down their homes. Polly's house is destroyed too and her maid Birdie, Neshoba's mother, is killed.

Muay Thai. The world’s favorite martial art and the most dangerous sport. ‘5th Round’ follows the story of four boxers at different stages of their life. What they all have in common is that that their whole lives have been dedicated to Muay Thai. They can fight for their area, but they can’t choose their destiny. Born into poverty, boxing is their only means of earning a living, and if they are to find a better life, they must fight right though to the very last round.
