Who'll Stop the Rain
In the 1994 post-martial law period in Taiwan, the students were in the midst of protest. Chi-wei, a female college student, joins the strike to fight for their freedom of expression. During the protest, she slowly becomes attracted to Ching, the girlfriend of the leader of the student strike.

Angelique and the Sultan

Engeyum Kadhal
Kamal, a young billionaire, doesn't believe in love; his philosophy is simple: No love, no commitments = no disappointments. He works hard for 11 months and takes a month's break from all the work related commitments. Cute violinist Kayalvizhi alias Kayal believes in true love and is highly fascinated with Indian culture. Kayal's father Rajasekhar runs a small detective agency in France and Kayal often reads her father's case files for interesting stories. One day, Rajasekhar gets a new client who wants to know about his girlfriend's mystery man. After a brief investigation, Rajasekhar finds that his client's girlfriend is dating Kamal. Sonu gets angry and decides to kill his girlfriend and Kamal.

Os Sete Samurais

Rashomon
No Japão do século XI, um lenhador, um sacerdote e um camponês procuram refúgio de uma tempestade nas ruínas de pedra do Portão de Rashomon. O sacerdote conta detalhes de um julgamento que testemunhou, envolvendo o estupro de Masako e o assassinato do marido dela, Takehiro, um samurai. Em flashback é mostrado o julgamento do bandido Tajomaru, onde acontecem quatro testemunhos, inclusive de Takehiro através de um médium. Cada um é uma "verdade", que entra em conflito com as outras.
Dolls
"Dolls" é baseado no teatro milenar bunraku, em que pessoas com vestes negras manipulam bonecos no palco. Através disto, o diretor Takeshi Kitano, nos conta três tristes e arrebatadoras histórias de amor, O jovem Matsumoto, abandona sua namorada Sawako, para casar-se com a filha do chefe, mas quando sua ex tenta se matar, larga tudo para viver com ela de forma miserável. Nukui, é fã da cantora pop Haruna Yamaguchi, e quando ela sofre um acidente que lhe deforma o rosto, ele toma uma drástica decisão para confortá-la. Hiro, abandona a mulher para trabalhar com a máfia japonesa e, trinta anos mais tarde, tenta reencontrar seu grande amor.
