Sinopse: Um homem nu e bêbado aparece em uma TV nacional ao vivo no meio de um festival sagrado de Namahage, onde homens vestidos com fantasias de ogro visitam casas para assustar as crianças a não fazerem coisas ruins no próximo ano. O homem, o jovem pai Tasuku, é condenado ao ostracismo por envergonhar a aldeia e sua tradição, foge sozinho para Tóquio. Depois de dois anos, ele volta para sua cidade natal para fazer as pazes com sua ex-esposa e sua filha pequena, mas a realidade o incomoda.
