Ambientada em uma paisagem distópica, SCALES conta a história de uma jovem de temperamento forte, Hayat, que vive em uma pobre vila de pescadores governada por uma tradição sombria, segundo a qual cada família deve dar uma filha às criaturas marinhas que habitam as águas próximas. Em troca, as criaturas marinhas são caçadas pelos homens da vila. Salva desse destino por seu pai, Hayat é considerada uma maldição para a vila e cresce como uma pária. Mesmo assim, ela não se rende a esse destino e luta por um lugar em sua vila. Depois que sua mãe dá à luz um menino, Hayat precisa aceitar o costume brutal de se entregar às criaturas marinhas ou encontrar uma maneira de escapar.
Cannery Rodent
Tom chases Jerry into a fish cannery; they get sealed into cans. Tom breaks out, but falls off a pier as the cans roll under him. A shark chases him out of the water; Tom drops an anchor on the shark. Meanwhile, Jerry has been hopping in his can; Tom opens it, and puts his finger in, which Jerry bites. Jerry tricks Tom into falling off the end of another pier, and right into the shark's path again. The shark manages to get Tom into a very precarious position, barely holding the jaws apart. Jerry takes pity, and dumps a shaker full of pepper into the shark, which ends up on the processing line and stuffed into a huge can. Tom is unrepentant, so Jerry tricks him with a fake shark fin.

This Man's Navy
During World War II, Chief Aviation Pilot Ned Trumpet is in charge of an airship at Lakehurst, New Jersey naval base. Trumpet orders an unauthorized and premature attack on a German submarine but the bomb misses and the submarine fires back, hitting the airship. Trumpet takes over the controls and sinks the submarine, The pilot faces a court-martial for disobeying orders but the older man takes the blame for his actions. Weaver transfers to the Ferry Command, and while on assignment in Burma, his aircraft crashes in Japanese territory. Trumpet rushes to the scene with a rescue team. Both are successfully brought out and are decorated for their heroism. Afterward, Weaver indicates that he will be returning to the lighter-than-air service in Lakehurst, to reunite with his "father".
