Sinopse: Voltando para casa de sua última viagem, o militar John Frost está feliz por estar em casa no Natal. Ele encontra sua esposa Jill e seu filho Jimmy muito ocupados e sem tempo para ele. Em sua ausência, eles adotaram um cachorro chamado Charlie - só que John não gosta muito de animais. Jill trabalha em seu próprio negócio, tem se esforçado para pagar as contas.
