Sinopse: Em uma remota escavação no deserto da Jordânia, a arqueóloga Victoria Carter (Anna Friel) encontra um antigo pergaminho enterrado nas ruínas de um templo antigo, perdido há muito tempo. Segundo a lenda, esse pergaminho foi dado ao rei Salomão por Deus. Mas este tesouro poderoso também está sendo procurado por, entre outros, o distante pai de Victoria, o renomado arqueólogo Teddy Carter. Ao mesmo tempo, Angelo (Raoul Bova), um guarda do tesouro de uma organização secreta com base no Vaticano, recebe a ordem para saber mais sobre a escavação de Victoria - e rapidamente descobre o que ela encontrou.
