Multishow ao Vivo: Vanessa da Mata
Gravado para a série Multishow Ao Vivo, na cidade histórica de Paraty (RJ), o CD/DVD traz os grandes sucessos da cantora, como "Não Me Deixe Só", "Ai, Ai, Ai...", "Eu Sou Neguinha?", "Amado", "Vermelho" e "Boa Sorte / Good Luck"; a canção inédita "Acode" (de autoria da própria cantora) e as regravações de "Um Dia, Um Adeus" (de Guilherme Arantes) e "As Rosas Não Falam" (de Cartola). The Metropolitan Opera: Akhnaten
Philip Glass’ opera “Akhnaten”, premiered in Stuttgart in 1984, forms the third part of the portrait opera trilogy about personalities who have influenced the course of human history. The conclusion of the trilogy deals with the ancient Egyptian pharaoh Akhenaten, who attempted to establish a kind of monotheistic cult around the god Aton during his reign in the 14th century BC, but failed due to the resistance of the priesthood. The production presented here was undoubtedly one of the very great successes of the 2019/20 season at New York’s Metropolitan Opera, due not only to the outstanding cast of singers (led by countertenor Anthony Roth Costanzo) but also to Phelim McDermott’s imaginative staging, which captivates with sometimes breathtaking imagery.
Chori Chori
Kammo lives a very wealthy lifestyle with her widowed multi-millionaire dad, Girhdarilal, who would like her to get married to someone who is not after their wealth. To his dismay, she chooses to marry a Pilot named Sumankumar, who is known to womanize, and for his greed, so when he disapproves, she runs away. He advertises for her safe return and offers to pay Rs.1.25 Lakhs to the finder. Four days later, Kammo returns and she is not the same anymore, she is more humble, sober, and respectful. Fully appreciative of this, Girdharilal agrees to get her married to Sumankumar. Just before the marriage, a man named Sagar approaches them - and it is this visit that will change their lives forever.
