Sinopse: Eddie é um capelão militar idoso que acabou de ficar viúvo e tem um relacionamento ruim com sua única filha. Depois de se mudar para um lugar diferente, em um bairro pobre, Eddie conhece a pequena Hope, uma garotinha com problemas em casa e que, por meio de longas conversas sobre fé, acaba sendo uma luz de esperança para o velho capelão. Aos poucos, Eddie encontra na construção de um jardim uma nova fonte de fé e isso milagrosamente contagia a todos os moradores do bairro.
