Sinopse: Vural leva uma vida mundana. Ele é atencioso com o filho e com a esposa, e ajuda o pai doente, com quem administra uma loja de fotografia próxima ao Consulado Americano em Istambul. Mas Vural guarda um segredo, uma pequena transgressão de sua fé: um caso com Sonay, uma jovem que visita a loja para tirar fotos de passaporte para solicitar um visto aos Estados Unidos. Porém, angustiada e emocionalmente abalada, ela acaba por colocar Vural contra a parede, ameaçando sua vida descomplicada. Ele, então, se depara com uma escolha difícil entre lidar com as consequências desse relacionamento ou trilhar o caminho sombrio da perda total de sua moralidade.
