In a period of isolation, far away from each other, 2 friends reconnect through video-letters, inspired by the poetic gaze of women experimental filmmakers: Marie Menken, Joyce Wieland, Gunvor Nelson, Yvonne Rainer. Fernanda is a Brazilian living in São Paulo, Adriana is a Mexican-Brazilian living in Los Angeles. They both share their inspiration while capturing the reality of these times.
The short registers a sports spectacle of great importance (probably of soccer). We never see the spectacle itself but the people watching and reacting at the stadium.
A farmer finds out that a wolf's bite has turned him into a voracious beast. Worse still, his only son seems to have swapped brains with one of his sheep.
A master owl tries to present the kindergarten end of year show. Unfortunately the night does not go as planned, as several unforeseen events happened, one after the other, even before the curtain came up.
One time bickering neighbors are forced to share the same apartment. The cultural clash between traditional-orthodox-India and modern-urban-India. The collision of two cultures creates havoc in the beginning but finds a peaceful co-existence, at the end. An orthodox boy from the holy city of Banaras, is forced to stay with a chorus dancer in Bombay... The film does the journey of these two opposite personalities and how, after the initial phase of rejection, they find each others place in their respective lives.
Tirado dos arquivos de vídeo da Trojan, este concerto é uma das últimas performances ao vivo de Bob Marley antes de sua morte em Maio de 1981. O espetáculo foi realizado em Santa Barbara em 25 de Novembro de 1979.
Marley narra a bem conhecida trajetória do cantor que nasceu numa pequena aldeia da Jamaica e se tornou um astro mundial divulgando o reggae e a filosofia rastafári, até morrer de câncer, em 1981, aos 36 anos. Mas ele aborda também temas mais polêmicos, como a angústia de Marley por ser mulato, sofrendo “bullying” na infância por isso, e como os relacionamentos e filhos extraconjugais afetaram a vida dele com a esposa, Rita, e com a filha Cedella. Estima-se que Marley tenha tido 11 filhos com sete mulheres.
O jamaicano Bob Marley supera as adversidades para se tornar um dos músicos mais famosos do mundo.
