Sinopse: Depois de lutar contra o alcoolismo, Martha deu uma guinada em sua vida para conseguir a guarda compartilhada de sua filha. Na noite anterior à audiência de custódia, porém, Martha acorda em um acidente de carro e foge da cena, por não querer perder sua filha para sempre. Martha sabe que não tinha bebido, então ela não se lembra da dinâmica e nem tem certeza de como acabou em um acidente de carro. Sentindo-se culpada, Martha rastreia Daphne, a outra motorista que ela machucou no acidente. Horrorizada com seu suposto papel em paralisar Daphne, Martha se torna sua cuidadora. Mas conforme Martha passa mais tempo com Daphne e seu marido, Henry, ela começa a se perguntar se o acidente de carro foi realmente um acidente.
