Sinopse: Camila, geógrafa, retorna para sua terra natal depois que o rio de sua cidade foi contaminado pelo maior crime ambiental do Brasil, provocado por uma mineradora transnacional. Ela segue o caminho da lama que atingiu o rio, varreu povoados, tirou vidas e deixou um rastro de morte e destruição, e começa a repensar seu estilo de vida. Decide fazer um mapeamento dos impactos da mineração em Minas Gerais e se envolve com ativistas e movimentos de resistência, saindo do individualismo para a coletividade. O filme é um road movie sobre perder um mundo e tentar recuperá-lo, sobre pertencimento e identidade, na guerra em curso entre capitalismo e a natureza.
