Sinopse: O filme transcorre por três dias da última internação hospitalar de Lima Barreto, passados no manicômio D. Pedro II, no ano de 1919, na cidade do Rio de Janeiro, motivada por uma forte crise de alucinação, em que se encontram o velho Lima Barreto, a versão mais jovem do escritor e o protagonista de sua obra-prima, "O Triste Fim de Policarpo Quaresma".
