Neste filme ensaio, é construída uma ponte entre a filmografia de Otoniel e as captações do presente, realizadas em super-8, reimaginando o mundo ficcional do cineasta através de um novo ponto de vista - transformando-o em um importante documento de preservação da história do cinema brasileiro.
