Isso porque, das mais de 500 espécies de tubarão existentes, nenhuma cria seus filhotes. Os tubarões podem ser encontrados em todos os oceanos do planeta e desenvolveram formas extraordinariamente diferentes de se reproduzir e dar à luz, assim como de sobreviver quando filhotes.
