The series is based on the "News from the Edge" series of novels by Mark Sumner, a St. Louis, Missouri based author. The show was originally sold to NBC, which shot the pilot, then later found a home with The Sci-Fi Channel.

Abismo de Paixão
Augusto Castañón e Estefânia Bouvier de Castañón são pais de Elisa. Com eles vive Carmen Bouvier, irmã mais velha de Estefânia e que vai fugir do povoado com Rogério Arango, esposo de Almerinda Arango e pai de Damião, melhor amigo de Elisa. Almerinda descobre e alerta a Augusto. Por sua parte, Estefânia tenta impedir Rogério a não abandonar sua família, mas devido ao intempérie da chuva, ambos morrem em um acidente de carro. Carmem aproveita o fato para fazer Augusto acreditar que sua esposa era infiel. Augusto, por despeito, casa-se com Carmem, apesar de não estar apaixonado por ela e nem amá-la. Carmem está grávida de Rogério, mas mente para Augusto, dizendo que o filho é dele. Querendo bater em Elisa, Carmem escorrega e cai na piscina da casa, causando morte súbita ao bebê. Por sua parte, Almerinda decide mandar a Damião para fora do povoado a estudar para separá-lo de Elisa de quem é muito amigo, amizade que ela não vê com bons olhos, após inocentemente os dois fugirem juntos.

Postbus X is a childrens series, set in the editorial office of "De Ravenburgse Post", owned by eccentric Jonathan Hiks, later succeeded by his daughter Ilse Hiks. The Ravenburgse Post is in fact a cover for the organization Mailbox X '. People with problems can write a letter to Postbus X (PO Box X, actually 10) Ravenburg and then possibly helped. The team includes Jonathan Hiks (and later Ilse Hiks), Bodo and later Waldo of "Het Melkhuisje" (a café in the same building), Pol and Jessie. The meetings always go by at Het Melkhuisje, which is connected with the Office of Hiks with a hidden elevator . The rest of the editorial staff doesn't know anything of the activities of Postbus X, which sometimes leads to difficulties, especially when it comes to the clumsy and lazy worker 'De Vergulden Veder' Felix Haentjes, who is however, in favor of state editor Miss Pluym.
E:60
E:60 is a weekly investigative journalism newsmagazine show. It premiered on ESPN on October 16, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. ET, 4:00 p.m. PT. The show is one hour long. E:60 covers stories that relate to both American and international sports. Reporters from the network interview those surrounding the stories, and they also discuss what was involved in covering the stories. Many of the stories' subjects are of a serious nature, such as a story featured on the premiere show about Jason Ray, the student who portrayed the North Carolina Tar Heels' mascot Ramses, being killed after he was struck by a car. Reporters and contributors on the show include ESPN personalities Jeremy Schaap, Rachel Nichols, Lisa Salters, Jeffri Chadiha, Michael Smith, and Chris Connelly.
