Eek! The Cat

Eek! The Cat foi um desenho animado da década de 1990, criado por Savage Steve Holland e Bill Kopp e produzido pela Fox dos Estados Unidos em conjunto com a Savage Studios Ltd. do Canadá originalmente para exibição no canal infantil Fox Kids. A trama básica consiste nas aventuras de Eek (um gato feliz e azul) com sua namorada Annabelle ou Anabela (uma gata enorme, extravagante e rosa), o "quase sogro" e cachorro-tubarão Sharky e toda sua vizinhança e amigos (Steven, Elmo, Wendy, Timmy e outros).

A série se passa em Terra II, um planeta distante da Terra. Trezentos anos antes do início da história, o navio colônia humana Mesopotâmia sofreu uma grande catástrofe, que matou quase todos a bordo. Seis homens fugiram usando um pod de emergência e conseguiram pousar na superfície do planeta. Sem meios para retornar ou contatar a Terra, eles decidiram colonizar o planeta usando clones de si mesmos. Seis nações são criadas, cada uma governada por seis clones diretos dos colonos originais, enquanto as nações em si são povoadas por clones geneticamente modificados. No entanto, o seu equipamento não foi capaz de produzir clones do sexo feminino a partir de material genético masculino, o que resultou em uma população totalmente masculina.
