A Cozinha de Cupido

Abençoada com um paladar apurado, Lin Ke Song tem a habilidade única de identificar os ingredientes de qualquer prato com apenas uma garfada. Apesar de seu dom raro, ela nunca cozinhou bem e, sendo assim, nunca pensou seriamente em seguir carreira nas artes culinárias. Apaixonada por outro homem, Ke Song decide seguir sua paixão não correspondida até a América, esperando conquistar sua afeição; contudo, seus planos são descarrilados logo após sua chegada. Cruzando o caminho de Qian Fan não muito tempo depois, o aclamado chefe de cozinha fica intrigado pelo seu raro dom. Colocando-a sob sua asa, Qian Fan começa a ensinar Ke Song a como aplicar suas habilidades na cozinha. Trabalhando juntos, eles se preparam para uma competição de culinária que se aproxima, mas a estrada que os leva até lá é cheia de obstáculos.

It All Started in Harbin

The events of the film unfold first on the territory of China, in Manchuria, then transferred to the USSR, have an extensive geographical area: from Harbin to Leningrad, and cover the period from 1928 to 1953. The plot is based on the complex, full of dramatic events, the fate of a man — Boris, the son of an employee of the Chinese-Eastern Railway.

The District Nurse

The District Nurse is a British television series, produced by BBC Wales and shown on BBC One between 1984 and 1987. The series was a period drama created by Julia Smith and Tony Holland and starred Nerys Hughes as Megan Roberts, the titular district nurse fighting to improve living conditions for the people living in a poverty stricken mining town, Pencwm, in south Wales during the late 1920s. The School scenes were filmed at Pont-y-gof school in Ebbw Vale, shortly before the old school was demolished. The children and teachers at the school were involved in the first two series. The outdoor school and street scenes were filmed at a small village near Tredegar. Most of the houses used have now been demolished, however the street still remains. In the third series, shown in 1987 and set in the early 1930s, Megan had moved on to the seaside town of Glanmor where she worked with a father/son pair of doctors - Emlyn Isaacs and James Isaacs.
