Sinopse: O ambientalista Zeb Hogan chega perto de bizarros gigantes da água, espécimes enormes em proporção e estranhos na aparência. Entre outras aventuras, o ambientalista pesquisa peixes voadores da Ásia que estão invadindo os cursos d'água americanos, e procura uma das criaturas mais dentuças e incompreendidas da América do Norte, o alligator gar. Algumas das espécies que Hogan encontra sobreviveram por séculos, mas agora estão ameaçadas de extinção, e ele apresenta pesquisas inovadoras conduzidas para protegê-las.
