Sinopse: A filha mais velha do detetive Shibasaki Sachio, da Primeira Divisão de Investigação, é encontrada morta a facadas. Ele vai atrás da verdade com Kawasumi Shigekatsu, um detetive júnior que respeita Shibasaki como seu mentor na vida e é um amigo próximo da família. No entanto, o trabalho árduo da polícia é em vão.
