Sinopse: Janeiro de 1993. Correspondente de um dos maiores jornais do país na França, Paloma Fernandes volta ao Brasil após romper seu casamento. Ela recebe uma missão de Dr. Felix, dono do Grupo Folha: assumir a chefia de reportagem de um dos jornais do grupo, o Notícias Populares. Mas a tarefa de chefiar os repórteres se mostrará difícil. Paloma vai ter que driblar seus preconceitos para noticiar casos espetaculares como o Bebê-Diabo, o Bando do Palhaço e uma rebelião de prostitutas.

Nathalie Lapointe is in her early forties, a single mother of three with a successful career as columnist at a major newspaper.
