Sinopse: Ricky Ricardo é um cubano, líder de uma banda no Clube Tropicana. Ele é casado com Lucy que, ao contrário do que se espera, não é uma esposa comum que apenas cuida da casa. Lucy está o tempo todo tentando entrar no mercado do show business no Tropicana, onde o marido trabalha. Ao mesmo tempo, ela torna a vida mais divertida no prédio onde mora, com os vizinhos e senhorios Fred e Ethel Mertz.
