Sinopse: Pedro é um jovem ambicioso que quer vencer como músico. É muito ligado à mãe, Anita, mas entra sempre em atritos com o pai, Celso. Sai de casa e vai morar em uma comunidade de estudantes, quando descobre que seu irmão, Cláudio, roubou sua namorada, Selma. Conhece Gilda, uma mulher mais velha que lhe abrirá as portas do sucesso. Gilda é bonita, elegante e já foi muito rica, mas só realizou-se profissionalmente depois que se separou do marido, Roberto. É dona de uma agência de eventos e tem dois filhos, Loreta e Silvinho, além de criar um menino muito travesso, Pingo.
