Heidi
Heidi, uma menina orfã, é levada pela tia para viver com o avô, nas montanhas dos Alpes. Este resiste de início à ideia de tomar conta de Heidi, mas um forte laço rapidamente se desenvolve entre os dois. Quando a tia regressa no Verão seguinte para a levar para a cidade, Heidi está relutante em partir e o avô fica destroçado. Heidi tem de se adaptar à disciplina imposta pela governanta, Miss Rottenmeier (Jane Seymour), e após algum tempo já tem saudades das montanhas e do avô. Apesar da influência mágica que deixou em Klara e na sua família, Heidi é mandada de volta para a montanha, a conselho médico. Pouco depois, Heidi e o avô recebem uma carta de Klara a dizer que ela e toda a gente de lá de casa os iria visitar na montanha. Heidi sente que, finalmente conseguiu reunir as suas duas famílias.
