Sinopse: Jyu Oh Sei se passa em futuro distante onde a humanidade habita um outro sistema, chamado Balkan, e narra a trajetória de dois irmãos gêmeos, Rai e Thor, que tiveram seus pais assassinados. Após o assassinato dos pais, os irmãos são abandonados em um "planeta-prisão" desse sistema, o planeta Chimera. Em Chimera, Rai e Thor são obrigados a se adaptar a uma realidade completamente diferente, enquanto buscam pela verdade dos acontecimentos. Em um ambiente repleto de fugitivos, prisioneiros e com uma flora hostil, ambos lutam pela sobrevivência no planeta e descobrem que a única maneira de se obter o direito de sair do planeta é se envolvendo numa série de batalhas com os líderes locais, chamados Tops, e, por fim, se tornar Jyu Oh.
