Sinopse: Alguns homens infiltram a casa do engenheiro aposentado Arthur Jönsson à procura de alguns planos, pouco depois que os mesmos homens, ex-soldados suecos, fazem um assalto. Um assalto que Johan Falk e seus colegas da GSI acreditam é apenas um ensaio para um assalto muito maior, um assalto que parece fazer com que os outros assaltos de história investigados pela polícia pareçam mínimos.

Para achar Nina, Johan envolve o GSI, criando uma bola de neve que os leva à máfia mais perigosa da Europa, a Karayan.
